It's always a good practice to sort out your clothes before washing them. There are a different factors to consider. For example, some of these clothes are just dirtier than the others. You wouldn't want them to mix with the clean ones or else risk getting stain marks in some of the clothes. Speaking from experience, I think the first thing to remember is to sort out the colored clothes from the white ones. White clothes are very susceptible to stain marks, while colored clothes sometimes have the tendency to have color run offs, depending on the make of your outfit. If you mix a blue low-quality shirt with a white one, don't be surprised to see your white shirt getting some hue of blue to it. Light colored clothes, however, can be sometimes mixed with the rest. Once you already have the clothes sorted out by shade of color, the next thing to do is to sort them out by type. Separate the heavily dirtied clothes from your socks, undergarments, work shirts, and everything that you wear from day to day. These types of clothes don't have to be washed well because they are worn everyday anyway. Also separate delicate items link lingerie and neckties. For this purpose, you can use a laundry net where you can put these sensitive pieces of clothing inside. You can buy them off your local department store. Then finally, some special notes.
