Of late it has been observed that there are people really do not care about their clothing and wear whatever they feel comfortable in or rather whatever is in fashion. The extent of this has been such that according to a few reports there have been instances where interviewers have reported that they get a good amount of candidates who come in denims along with sweat shirts just to show that they are cool and believe that such an attitude can fetch them the job. In reality it does not happen! Even today, one needs to be very direful about what they wear for an interview. What you feel like wearing can be worn after getting through the interview (only if the company policies allow). The requirements are never huge and you can wear anything you feel like, but it has to be formal in nature. For men, it is always believed that a dark colored trouser always win over the light colored ones. In an interview, you should always wear a dark colored trouser and a light colored full-sleeve shirt. You may opt for striped shirt or plain shirt, but remember check shirts are not fully formal. There are some who wear full sleeved shirts, yet fold their sleeves, some do it because of comfort factor, and some do it because they look better. In case of an interview you only have to bear with for a few hours and then you can get back to your personal style. Apart from the trouser and shirt, you also have to be very careful about the type of shoe that you wear. The shoe has to be a formal one and it is better if it is a black or a brown shoe. If you have one then make sure that the shoe is clean on the day of your interview as the first impression of a man is had from the condition of his shoes. Some people believe in wearing a tie for interviews, but it is never a mandatory thing. If you are well dressed in formals then there is no need to add a tie.
