Some people believe the only day that they should be well dressed or they should wear formal wear shall be the day of interview or important meetings, but what you wear everyday is something which is noticed by all including your boss! Being well dressed at workplace is extremely important; not only for looks but also because of the confidence that it brings. When it comes to formal clothing, it does not matter how you look, you are tall or you are short, you are brown or you are white; everything is the same and that’s what makes some people more comfortable in formal clothing rather than casual clothing. Wondering what makes you look smart and what are the things you should avoid? One of the biggest mistakes that people make when dressing for workplace is by wearing sneakers. It is true that they are comfortable, but somehow they do not look good when you wear them at office and gives an extremely casual look. What shall you wear then on days when casual wear is allowed at your office? One can easily wear loafers instead of sneakers, as they not only look great, but are extremely comfortable as well. Having a couple of pairs of loafers (preferable one dark colored and one light colored) would ensure that you do not miss sneakers at office! These days the number of people wearing tie at work place has reduced drastically. However even today, a tie makes you look complete in every aspect. It does not mean that you would have to buy a huge number of ties that go along with your clothes, but a couple of regular colored tie is a must-have. If you are confident then you can carry yourself in any colored tie, even the bright colored ones. We all know what to wear when it comes to trouser and shirts, but one of the major accessories that we are not very careful with is a belt. There are various types of belts available today, but then a leather belt is the best possible thing to wear at office. Most people wear black or brown, but the color should not be too bright and the buckle should be as simple as possible. We know almost all the things that we need to do to look good at workplace, so instead of trying new things at workplace one should try and stick to the basics and avoid experimentations!
